This past weekend, Rotary Districts 6600 and 6630 conducted inbound orientation and prospective outbound information sessions at the beautiful Akron Rotary Camp. We have a wonderful group of young people this year who are excited to be in Northern Ohio, coming from Mexico, Spain, Italy, France, and Brazil. We wish to express our sincere appreciation for the invaluable support provided by our hosting Rotary Clubs, the dedicated Club Youth Exchange Officers and Club Counselors, and particularly the generous host families.

The students participating in this program initially arrive in our communities as individuals unknown to us, displaying considerable courage by venturing so far from home. By the year 2027, these students will be returning to their home countries not as strangers, but as deeply valued family members and lifelong friends. It genuinely requires the collective effort of an entire Rotary community, dedicating countless hours, to successfully facilitate and maintain this important program. We are particularly grateful for the support from our District Governor line to offer the Rotary International Youth Exchange program. It was a privilege to have our District Governor 6600 Katherine join us for the weekend.
