2024 District Conference & Leadership Assembly

 

The Interact clubs in our district elected to support Refuge Host Homes as their district-wide service project this year, and they need your help! This organization supports pregnant women in crisis by providing them a host home and supplies throughout their pregnancy and after their baby is born. We would love to make this project even more successful with your support. The organization does not have space to store a large stockpile of items, and so we are asking each Rotary club to bring ONE box of diapers to our annual District Conference on Friday, April 26th, or Saturday, April 27th. Please coordinate with club presidents and fellow members to determine who will be able to bring the diapers to the conference. Our Interact clubs are working to put together baskets of baskets of items to donate to Refuge Host Homes and will contact their sponsoring Rotary Club if they need help collecting supplies. 

 

 

1) Donate gift cards for Aldi, Walmart, and any gas stations. The mothers in these situations are frequently in need of items such as diapers and other baby supplies. These gift cards can help provide for their needs and the needs of their child. We ask that any donated gift cards be brought to the District Conference with the box of diapers. 

 

2) Make a cash donation online that will go directly to Refuge Host Homes. You can make a donation of any amount at this link: Donate to Refuge Host Homes
