Rotary District Conference "Sharing Rotary is Fun" May 16-18

The district's Conference Committee, chaired by David Hansford, of the Kent Club, has an exciting conference planned for our Rotarian's families and guests. Please plan to be with us to enjoy this weekend in May, at The Bertram Inn and Conference Center, in Aurora. We also look forward to seeing the display of your club's project's and activities to share with other Rotarians.

New Vocational/Avocation Directory 2008 for D6630 Members

The new, online directory of D6630 Rotarians has been started. It's in a password-protected area, and offered in both a searchable, online form, plus a PDF version that may be downloaded and printed. As of early April 2008, there are only a few submissions, but Rotarians are invited both to submit their information and preview the directory.

RYLA 2008 Information Posted

The District 6630 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Committee encourages your club's involvement in sponsoring local high school juniors (who will be seniors in September 2008) for the upcoming leadership camp at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio. Learn More.

New Guidelines for Grantseekers from the D6630 Grants Committee

District 6630 Grants Committee requires all potential grant applicants to submit a brief Grant Inquiry Form outlining basic information about the potential applicant’s Rotary Club and the program for which funding is being sought. Full details and the form are now available online.

Geographically situated in the Northeastern part of Ohio, USA, it consists of 56 clubs that meet weekly. Clubs in District 6630 are active in Community, Club, Vocational and International Service.

RI Discontinuing Club/District Software

RI is discontinuing the RI-CAS/DAS software and support as of July 1, 2008. The online versions will be removed September 1, 2008. You may download RI's FAQ on the subject here, or contact your RI represenative here to get questions answered. Please note that there are export options in the software that should allow you to port your information to other programs.

Please note that contributions for individuals MUST reference the Rotarian's number and the club number. Your Rotarian ID may be found on the mailing label "The Rotarian" magazine--it's the single 5-8 digit number above your name. If you have problems contact your club secretary.

The club ID is in the District Directory and other RI-Club paperwork. Receipts will be issued by RI if the club and Rotarian IDs are noted on the contribution paperwork.

Member & Attendance Reporting Form

Club secretaries are responsible for filing monthly attendance reports by the 5th of each month. New member inductions (and their sponsors) also need to be reported. Reports may be filed quickly and easily using this online form.


Club News Submission Form

To submit your fundraiser or service project information for inclusion in the D6630 web site, please use this online form.


Suggest a Speaker

Weekly programs are one of the most important aspects of a vital, active Rotary club. The District wants to create and maintain a speaker exchange listing to help clubs identify and share good speakers. If you have a suggestion for a speaker that other clubs should find interesting, please fill in our online form.
