- Who, what, where, when, why and how
- Link to your web site and/or contact info for more information
How to submit material for the web:
Preferred method is to use our Club News Submission Form
To submit your fundraiser or service project information for inclusion in the D6630 web site, please use this online form.
- The best approach is KISS (Keep It Simple Styling).
- All information should be in electronic form.
- Please proof your content before submitting.
- Page layout program files (MS Publisher, Pagemaker, Quark, InDesign) are generally NOT acceptable!
- For written copy, please forward Word documents or plain text (even just an email is fine). Please proofread your copy prior to submission. PDFs are acceptable (although not preferred) only if they are not simply a scan of a printed page.
- Please no Word 2007 "docx" documents.
- If you send a PDF Flier of an event to be posted, please include an introductory paragraph in your cover email providing the short description of the event and its purpose.
- Bold and italic styling are fine; even colored fonts (although they should be used VERY sparingly) are acceptable.
- Basically, if you ever press the spacebar two or more times in a row, it's a mistake. The spacebar should never be pressed more than once (even between sentences--that was a typewriter requirement prior to computers and proportionally spaced fonts).
- It may seem counterintuitive, but the more you format what you submit, the more work it creates for me (and probably you, too). This is true regardless of the program used to create your material.
- For tabulated data or columnar presentations, use Word tables or Excel. If you do not know how to use either, please just provide the content unformatted, and state which goes where, as in:
- Column 1:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aliquam cursus. Sed pretium tellus sed ligula. Mauris tempus porttitor ipsum. Nulla auctor rhoncus urna. Integer consequat ante. Aenean a arcu nec urna porta sollicitudin.
Column 2:
Vestibulum ante ipsum primis in faucibus orci luctus et ultrices posuere cubilia Curae; Curabitur lorem. Aenean ac mauris. Phasellus urna nunc, pretium vitae, fringilla eu, bibendum a, enim. Donec commodo metus et augue.
- For images and photographs, please provide high resolution JPGs, EPS or TIFs. If they are too large to email, please contact
to arrange for access to an online upload area, or mail a CD or DVD to:
Craig de Fasselle
PO Box 1420
Willoughby, OH 44096-1420.
Please be sure to include contact information with the disk.
