RYE 2015-16 Students Canoeing at Camp Hi

RYE students got to experience canoeing on the Upper Cuyahoga River thanks to the Mantua Rotary Club member Kendra Becker, owner of Camp Hi Canoe Livery. Jermán (Chile), Gabriel (Brazil), Antonella (Peru), Supahakrit or Art for short (Thailand) learned first hand about how to paddle, how to avoid fallen trees and sand banks and how the 1st American explorers (French) might have felt floating down a river in a canoe. Our picnic site included a tipee (tent) from western USA, a field to play volleyball, soccer, picnic tables and grill. Great place for recreating on a beautiful fall day.
